Sod Rolls

We specialize in all sod installations whether it is a new construction or an existing yard that the sod is dying. We can perform all of the grading to make sure the water is running away from your house or structure to minimize water issues in the future. The two ways to prep a yard for new sod are to completely remove it or soil condition it without removal. The sod we grow is a blend of five different Kentucky bluegrasses. It is shade tolerant, disease resistant and is cultured. Though this sod is shade tolerant, it does need at least 60% or 4 hours of sun per day. This sod is grown on peat or mineral bases. Peat is an organic lake bottom type base and the mineral is a sandy clay type base.

Hydro Seeding

Hydro seeding is an efficient, high quality, and inexpensive method of seeding a lawn. Technically, it's the process of combining a mixture called "slurry" (seed, mulch, fertilizer, soil amendments, and water) in a Hydroseeder tank, and then applying that mixture to the intended surface using high pressure. The hydroseeder keeps the slurry evenly mixed. This causes speedy seed germination and stops erosion in its tracks! In the best scenarios, a new lawn will start to sprout in only a week, but in most cases, it will take 2-3 weeks to germinate. You will typically see sprouting in 1 to 2 weeks.
